8th blunder is an extension of the 7 blunders of the world list that Mahatma Gandhi created and gave to his gransdon shortly before his death. My first thought of the list was that it was brilliant but incomplete and if Mahatma Gandhi was alive he would have extended the list to include the 8th, 9th, 10th blunder etc.
In the blog I took the liberty of adding more blunders, but that's not all that the blog is about..detecting blunders..The blog is about positive untold stories that the media no longer writes about.
My blog is about reminding people that not all hope is lost. That we must keep on believing, stay positive and keep the faith and in time we shall reap if we hold on for just a little bit longer than the sceptics.
The 8th blunder is about returning the humanistic values to the people and planting a seed of hope in people's hearts. My blog is about decent reporting, dignified narration of events and fair story telling.
My blog is creating awareness around the" two sides to a story" philosophy that everybody knows about but no longer apply.
Today, people seem to be just okay with a single view to life which is usually the view of the media. Every media reporting these days is regarded as factual and fair with no validation necessary. The readers are eager to feast on every media dishing , no dietary requirements necessary..If food poisoning occurs, the insurance is there to settle all contigencies as anticipated..No sweat..No worries
Compassion, Ubuntu and empathy are a thing of the past in the world we living in. This truly is survival of the fittest.
"If you want compassion, see a psychologist", this seems to be the thinking of every money oriented mind today. "to hell about feelings" they say.. "Who cares about feelings when there's money to be made?" Hence my blog to restore sanity to those who sees value in it and to try and give back dignity to those who have lost it..in the most practical way possible. By bringing the world's blunders to people's attention. What they plan to do with the info is absolutely their baby..
Peace Out!.
